The Coliter® V2 Horizontal Check Valve is a compact, threaded lift-type check valve designed for reliable backflow prevention in residential, commercial, and light industrial piping systems. Constructed with a high-quality brass body (HPb59-1 or CW617N), stainless steel spring, and PTFE sealing disc, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term sealing performance. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), it undergoes rigorous testing: shell test at 2.4 MPa, seal test at 1.76 MPa (water), and hermetic seal test at 0.6 MPa (air). Suitable for operating temperatures from -20℃ to 180℃, it handles a wide range of media including water, gas, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, and other mildly corrosive fluids. The valve features ISO 228 cylindrical pipe threads (BSP parallel) for leak-free connections and is available in sizes from 1/4" to 2" (DN8–DN50). Designed specifically for **horizontal installation**, the V2 uses a spring-loaded lift mechanism that opens under forward flow and closes instantly upon flow reversal—preventing backflow without water hammer. Compliant with GB/T 12224 (design), GB/T 13927 (testing), and manufacturer-specified face-to-face dimensions, it is ideal for boiler feed lines, pump protection, irrigation systems, HVAC circuits, and plumbing applications where space is limited and maintenance-free operation is essential.
