Coliter ® Metal Bellows Compensator – Axial Expansion Absorption for High-Temperature & High-Pressure Piping Systems
JDZ Metal Bellows Compensator – Multi-Layer Stainless Steel Expansion Joint for Thermal Movement, Vibration Damping, and Misalignment Compensation
The Coliter® JDZ Metal Bellows Compensator is a precision-engineered axial expansion joint designed to absorb thermal expansion, contraction, vibration, and minor misalignment in demanding industrial piping systems. Constructed with multi-layer stainless steel bellows (typically 304 or 316L), it offers high flexibility, excellent fatigue resistance, and reliable sealing performance under extreme conditions—suitable for media temperatures up to 600°C and aggressive fluids such as steam, hot oil, and chemical process streams. The compensator features a compact, concentric design with optional flanged (JZ/F) or welded/tube-end (JZ/J) connections, available in sizes from DN32 to DN300. It functions as a critical safety component by relieving pipeline stress, protecting pumps, valves, and vessels from deformation or failure. Key applications include power generation, district heating, petrochemical plants, HVAC systems, and atomic energy facilities. Compliant with GB/T 12777, EJMA, and ISO standards, the JDZ series undergoes rigorous pressure and cycle testing to ensure long service life and operational integrity. With customizable wave numbers, pressure ratings (0.25–2.5 MPa), and end connections, it provides a tailored solution for complex thermal management challenges in high-performance fluid systems.

Product Description
This product is a kind of regular wavy pipe. The commonly used metal bellows include carbon steel and stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and so on. It is mainly used for non concentric axial transmission with small bending radius, or irregular turning and expansion, or absorbing the thermal deformation of the pipeline, or for the connection between the pipeline and the pipeline, or the connection between the pipeline and the equipment where it is not convenient to install with a fixed elbow. As a sensitive element, damping element, compensation element, sealing element, valve element and pipeline connector, metal bellows compensator is widely used in the fields of automatic control and measuring instruments, vacuum technology, machinery industry, electric power industry, transportation and atomic energy industry.
The product chooses different metal materials due to its different uses. Due to their different materials, the properties and uses of the processed metal bellows are also different.

Introduction to Compensator
Coliter®’s compensators are engineered to absorb thermal expansion, contraction, vibration, and misalignment in demanding piping systems across HVAC, power generation, chemical processing, and district heating. The series includes the JDZ metal bellows compensator with multi-layer stainless steel (304/316L) bellows for high-temperature steam or aggressive media (up to 600°C), and rubber-based expansion joints like the KXT flexible rubber joint for noise and shock reduction in water systems. Available in axial, lateral, and angular configurations with flanged, threaded, or welded ends (DN25–DN3000), these compensators handle pressures from PN6 to PN40 and comply with GB/T 12777, EJMA, and ISO standards—ensuring pipeline integrity, equipment protection, and long-term operational safety.
