Coliter ® Water Heating Gate Valve – PN16, -20~180°C, Threaded End for Hot Water & Steam Systems
Z15W Water Heating Gate Valve – Compact Brass or Stainless Steel Gate Valve with Metal-to-Metal Sealing for High-Temperature Service
The Coliter® Z15W Water Heating Gate Valve is a specialized threaded gate valve engineered for reliable shut-off in hot water, steam, and heating systems. Designed for elevated temperatures up to 180°C, it features a robust metal-to-metal hard sealing structure—eliminating elastomer degradation common in soft-seal valves at high heat. The valve is available in multiple material configurations: WCB carbon steel (Z15W-16C), CF8 (304 stainless steel, Z15W-16P), or CF8M (316 stainless steel, Z15W-16R) for the body, bonnet, and flashboard, with matching stainless steel stems (2Cr13, 304, or 316) for corrosion resistance. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), it undergoes rigorous testing: shell test at 2.4 MPa, seal test at 1.76 MPa (water), and hermeticity test at 0.6 MPa (air). Suitable for media including water, gas, oil, nitric acid, and acetic acid, it operates reliably from -20℃ to 180℃. The valve uses ISO 228 cylindrical pipe threads (G1/2" to G4") per GB/T standards and complies with GB/T 12224 (design), GB/T 12221 (structure length), and GB/T 13927 (testing). With a compact non-rising stem design and PTFE/flexible graphite packing, the Z15W delivers durable, leak-resistant performance in residential heating, district energy networks, and light industrial thermal systems.

Introduction to Cast steel gate valve
Coliter®’s cast steel gate valves, including the Z40H (non-rising stem) and Z41H (rising stem) models, are designed for high-pressure, high-temperature applications in oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, and district heating systems. Constructed from WCB (A216) cast steel with a bolted bonnet design, these valves feature a metal-seated wedge disc for reliable shut-off under severe service conditions. Rated at PN16 to PN40 (1.6–4.0 MPa) and suitable for temperatures up to 425°C, they comply with API 600, GB/T 12234, and ASME B16.10 standards. Full-port flow, fire-safe design, and robust construction ensure long-term performance in critical industrial pipelines.
