ZF1072 Magnetically Lockable Union Gate Valve – Secure & Serviceable for Water Meter Applications
The Coliter® ZF1072 Magnetically Lockable Union Gate Valve is a lead-free brass gate valve that integrates tamper-proof security with easy maintenance. Designed for residential water meter leads and utility service lines, it features a proprietary magnetic locking mechanism requiring a dedicated magnetic key for operation—preventing unauthorized shut-off—while its integrated union nut connection enables full disassembly without cutting pipes, allowing quick replacement of internal components such as the stem or seat. Constructed from forged HPb59-1 or CW617N brass with a resilient rubber wedge seal, it ensures bubble-tight closure and full-port flow. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa) and suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 90°C, the ZF1072 complies with WRAS, ACS, and GB/T 17241 standards for potable water safety. Available in sizes DN15–DN25 with ISO 228 (BSP) threads, it delivers reliable, long-term performance where both security and serviceability are critical.
