ZH6001 RPZ Backflow Preventer – Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly for High-Hazard Backflow Protection

The Coliter® ZH6001 RPZ Backflow Preventer is a certified Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) backflow prevention assembly designed to provide the highest level of protection against both backpressure and backsiphonage in high-hazard applications. Constructed from lead-free brass, it is suitable for use in potable water systems connected to irrigation, fire suppression, industrial processes, or any installation where contaminants could pose a serious health risk. Rated for a nominal pressure of 1.6 MPa, it operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 120°C and complies with GB/T 24684 and international backflow prevention standards. The unit features two independent check valves separated by a hydraulically monitored reduced-pressure zone, with an automatic relief valve that discharges to atmosphere if either check fails. Equipped with standard test cocks for annual inspection and ISO 228 (BSP parallel) threads, available in sizes DN15 (G1/2") through DN50 (G2"). Essential for safeguarding public water supplies in hospitals, chemical plants, and municipal infrastructure.
