QF5001 Brass Thermowell Ball Valve – Integrated Temperature Sensor Port for Heating & HVAC Systems

The Coliter® QF5001 Brass Thermowell Ball Valve is a lead-free, full-port ball valve with an integrated thermowell port designed for temperature monitoring in heating, solar thermal, and HVAC systems. The built-in thermowell allows insertion of a temperature probe or sensor without system shutdown, enabling real-time fluid temperature measurement while maintaining a sealed, leak-free connection. Constructed from forged brass with a chrome-plated ball and PTFE seats, it ensures reliable bubble-tight shut-off and smooth quarter-turn operation. The valve features ISO 228 (BSP) parallel threads and is rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), suitable for water, non-corrosive liquids, and saturated steam within a temperature range of -20°C to 110°C. Compliant with WRAS and ACS standards, the QF5001 combines flow control and temperature sensing functionality in a single compact unit—ideal for boiler outlets, heat exchangers, and district heating circuits.
