Z15W Maintenance Free Gate Valve – Compact, Metal-Sealed Gate Valve with Stainless Steel Construction for Long-Term Reliability
The Coliter® Z15W Maintenance Free Gate Valve is a high-performance threaded gate valve engineered for reliable, long-life service in water, gas, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, and other industrial media—without the need for routine maintenance. Featuring a robust metal-to-metal sealing design, it eliminates elastomer wear and ensures stable performance across a wide temperature range of -20℃ to 180℃. The valve is constructed from premium materials: standard models use WCB carbon steel (Z15W-16C), while corrosion-resistant variants feature CF8 (304 stainless steel, Z15W-16P) or CF8M (316 stainless steel, Z15W-16R) for the body, bonnet, and flashboard, paired with matching stainless steel stems (2Cr13, 304, or 316). Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), it undergoes comprehensive testing: shell test at 2.4 MPa, seal test at 1.76 MPa (water), and hermeticity test at 0.6 MPa (air). Equipped with PTFE/flexible graphite packing and PTFE/steel strip graphite winding gaskets, it ensures excellent sealing integrity under thermal cycling. The valve uses ISO 228 cylindrical pipe threads (G1/2" to G4") and complies with Chinese standards GB/T 12224 (design), GB/T 12221 (structure length), and GB/T 13927 (testing). Its compact non-rising stem design and durable construction make the Z15W ideal for residential plumbing, heating systems, chemical lines, and light industrial applications where zero leakage and maintenance-free operation are essential.

Introduction to Cast steel gate valve
Coliter®’s cast steel gate valves, including the Z40H (non-rising stem) and Z41H (rising stem) models, are designed for high-pressure, high-temperature applications in oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, and district heating systems. Constructed from WCB (A216) cast steel with a bolted bonnet design, these valves feature a metal-seated wedge disc for reliable shut-off under severe service conditions.
