Coliter ® Thermowell Ball Valve – Lead-Free, PN16, Lever Handle
QF5005 Thermowell Ball Valve (Lever Handle) – Lead-Free Brass with Temperature Probe Port
The Coliter® QF5005 Thermowell Ball Valve (Lever Handle) is a lead-free, full-port brass ball valve featuring an integrated thermowell port for real-time temperature monitoring in heating, solar thermal, and HVAC systems. The thermowell allows insertion of a temperature sensor or probe without system interruption, ensuring accurate fluid temperature measurement while maintaining a sealed, leak-free connection. Equipped with a robust lever handle for clear open/close indication and easy quarter-turn operation, the valve is constructed from forged brass with a chrome-plated ball and PTFE seats for reliable bubble-tight shut-off. It has ISO 228 (BSP) parallel threads and is rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), suitable for water, oil, and saturated steam within a working temperature range of -20°C to 100°C. Compliant with WRAS and ACS standards, the QF5005 is ideal for boiler outlets, heat exchangers, and district heating circuits requiring combined flow control and temperature sensing.
