Coliter ® Compound Exhaust Valve – PN1.0~1.6, 0~100°C, Dual-Function Air Release for Large & Micro Air in Water Systems
CARX1.0 Compound Exhaust Valve – Ductile Iron Automatic Air Vent with Dual Orifices for Efficient Removal of Bulk and Dissolved Air in Pipelines
The Coliter® CARX1.0 Compound Exhaust Valve is an advanced automatic air release valve designed to handle both large volumes of trapped air during pipeline filling and small amounts of micro-bubbles generated during normal operation. Installed at high points in water supply, HVAC, or industrial pipelines—especially near pump outlets or elevated sections—it prevents airlocks, noise, corrosion, and reduced system efficiency while also protecting against pipe collapse under negative pressure. The valve features a dual-orifice design: a large bottom orifice rapidly vents bulk air during startup, while a smaller top orifice continuously releases accumulated micro-bubbles during steady-state flow. Constructed with a ductile iron (QT450) body and cover, a stainless steel protective screen and float ball, and a rubber sealing ring, it ensures reliable, maintenance-free operation. Rated for PN10–PN16 (1.0–1.6 MPa), it operates within a temperature range of 0℃ to 100℃ and is suitable for water, oil, and other non-corrosive liquids. Available in flanged sizes from DN50 to DN200 and threaded sizes from DN25 to DN52, it complies with Chinese standards GB/T 17241.6 (design), GB/T 9113 (flanges), and GB/T 13927 / API 598 (testing). By combining rapid initial venting with continuous micro-air release—and automatically inhaling air during vacuum conditions—the CARX1.0 delivers comprehensive air management for optimal pipeline performance and safety.

The product is suitable for installation in the pump outlet or water supply and distribution pipeline. It is used to remove a large amount of air accumulated in the pipeline, or a small amount of air accumulated at a higher place of the pipeline is discharged into the atmosphere, so as to improve the service efficiency of the pipeline and oil-water machine. Once there is negative pressure in the pipeline, the valve quickly sucks in the external air to protect the pipeline from damage caused by negative pressure.

Introduction to Exhaust valve
Coliter®’s exhaust valves automatically vent trapped air from heating, cooling, and water supply pipelines to prevent airlocks, noise, corrosion, and reduced efficiency. The series includes the QB1 single-port flange exhaust valve for main lines, KB1 single-port quick exhaust valve with enhanced discharge speed, and the CARX1.0 compound automatic air release valve that handles both large initial air volumes and micro-bubbles during operation. Constructed from high-quality cast iron or brass with stainless steel float mechanisms, these valves operate at PN16 (1.6 MPa) and temperatures up to 110°C. Ideal for installation at system high points, pump inlets, and manifold tops—ensuring smooth flow, pump protection, and optimal thermal performance in HVAC and plumbing networks.
