Coliter ® Low Resistance Backflow Preventer – PN1.0~2.5, 0~95°C, Atmospheric Isolation for Potable Water Safety
LHS743X Low Resistance Backflow Preventer – Compact Hydraulic Backflow Preventer with Minimal Head Loss for Municipal & Domestic Water Systems
The Coliter® LHS743X Low Resistance Backflow Preventer is a specialized backflow prevention device engineered to protect potable water supplies from contamination by unclean or non-potable water in interconnected piping systems. Designed based on hydraulic control principles, it features a compact structure, reliable atmospheric isolation, and exceptionally low head loss—making it ideal for installation at the connection points between municipal/domestic drinking water networks and auxiliary systems (e.g., irrigation, fire protection, industrial loops). The valve employs a dual-check mechanism with an automatic pressure-sensing drain port: under normal flow, both check valves open fully with minimal resistance (local head loss <0.03 MPa); if backflow occurs or downstream pressure exceeds upstream pressure, the intermediate chamber vents to atmosphere via the drain, breaking the siphon and preventing reverse flow. Constructed with a ductile iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel body, and internal components of stainless steel and EPDM/silicone rubber seals, it ensures durability and compliance with drinking water safety standards. Rated for nominal pressures of PN10, PN16, or PN25 (1.0–2.5 MPa), it operates within a temperature range of 0℃ to 95℃. Available in sizes from DN50 to DN600, with flanged end connections per standard dimensions. With an opening pressure as low as <0.03 MPa, the LHS743X delivers high sensitivity, energy efficiency, and fail-safe protection—ensuring clean, safe drinking water in residential, commercial, and municipal applications.

Introduction to Hydraulic control valve
Coliter®’s hydraulic control valves are pilot-operated, multi-function automatic valves designed for intelligent water system management in high-rise buildings, fire protection, and municipal networks. The series includes the 600X electric hydraulic control valve (remote on/off via solenoid), 500X pressure relief/pressure reducing valve, 400X flow control valve, 300X slow-closing check valve, 200X pressure sustaining valve, and the LHS743X low-resistance backflow preventer. All models use system pressure as the driving force—requiring no external power—and feature brass or ductile iron bodies, Y-strainer integration, and precise pilot control for stable operation. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa) and suitable for temperatures up to 80°C, they ensure safe, energy-efficient, and code-compliant water distribution with automatic response to demand changes.
