Coliter ® Reducer Bushing Male Thread, Brass, for Gas and Plumbing Systems
Reducer Bushing (Male Thread) – Brass Adapter for Reducing Pipe Diameter in Gas and Plumbing Systems
The Coliter® Reducer Bushing (Male Thread) is a precision-machined brass adapter designed to connect pipes or fittings of different diameters in gas piping and plumbing systems. Featuring a male thread on the larger end and a female socket on the smaller end, it enables smooth transition between tubing sizes—commonly used with stainless steel pliable corrugated gas hoses (e.g., Ø13.5mm, Ø16mm, or Ø18.5mm) and standard 1/2" female threaded connections. Made from high-quality forged brass, it ensures corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and leak-tight performance under typical gas service conditions. Compatible with natural gas and LPG systems, this reducer bushing supports safe and flexible installation behind cooktops, water heaters, and boilers. Threads conform to ISO 228 (BSP parallel) standards for reliable sealing with PTFE tape or thread sealant.

Introduction to Stainless Steel Pliable Corrugated Tubing In Gas Pinping Systems
Coliter®’s stainless steel pliable corrugated tubing (model GZ6001) is a flexible, high-strength solution for residential and commercial gas appliance connections. Made from 304 stainless steel with a seamless corrugated inner tube and durable braided outer layer, it offers superior resistance to vibration, corrosion, and high pressure—ideal for natural gas and LPG installations. Certified to national gas safety standards, the GZ6001 features male/female NPT or ISO 228 threads, operates within -20°C to +70°C, and supports working pressures up to 0.1–0.5 MPa. Its flexibility simplifies installation in tight spaces behind cooktops, water heaters, and boilers, while eliminating risks associated with rigid piping—ensuring leak-free, long-term safety and compliance.
