Coliter ® Stainless Steel Check Valve – PN1.6~16.0, -20~180°C, Swing Type for Corrosive Media like Nitric Acid & Acetic Acid
H44W Stainless Steel Check Valve – Flanged Swing Check Valve with Full 304/316 Construction for Reliable Backflow Prevention in Aggressive Environments
The Coliter® H44W Stainless Steel Check Valve is a high-performance swing-type check valve engineered for automatic backflow prevention in pipelines handling corrosive or high-purity media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, and acetic acid. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant materials—CF8 (304) or CF8M (316) stainless steel for the valve body and bonnet, and a matching stainless steel disc with optional PTFE or elastomer sealing—it ensures long service life even in aggressive chemical environments. The valve operates via a gravity-assisted swing disc mechanism: it opens fully under forward flow to minimize pressure drop and closes by its own weight when flow stops or reverses, preventing reverse flow without external power. Rated for nominal pressures from PN16 to PN160 (1.6–16.0 MPa), it undergoes rigorous testing: shell test at 1.5×PN and seal test at 1.1×PN. Suitable for operating temperatures between -20℃ and 180℃ (extendable with special seals), it complies with international standards including GB/T 12235 and API 598. Available in sizes from DN50 to DN400 with standard flanged end connections per GB/T 9113, HG/T 20592, or ANSI B16.5, the H44W is ideal for chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, marine, and industrial systems where reliability, corrosion resistance, and zero contamination are critical. Designed for horizontal or vertical (flow upward) installation, it delivers maintenance-free, fail-safe reverse-flow protection.
