The Coliter® Z45T Dark Rod Hard Seal Gate Valve is a robust industrial gate valve designed for reliable shut-off in demanding applications involving water, steam, oil, and other non-corrosive media. Featuring a non-rising (dark rod) stem design, it saves vertical installation space—ideal for underground or confined installations. Unlike soft-seal valves, the Z45T employs a metal-to-metal hard sealing structure: a precision-machined wedge made of brass or ductile iron seals directly against a hardened seat integrated into the ductile iron body, ensuring long-term durability in high-temperature or abrasive environments where elastomers would degrade. The valve body and bonnet are cast from nodular (ductile) cast iron (QT450), while the stem is available in carbon steel, stainless steel, or brass for enhanced corrosion resistance. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa) with a test pressure of 2.4 MPa (shell) and 1.76 MPa (seal), it operates reliably within a temperature range of -10°C to 80°C. Compliant with GB/T 12234 standards, the Z45T features flanged end connections and full-port flow for minimal pressure drop. Available in sizes from DN50 to DN1200, it is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power generation, and district heating systems—delivering maintenance-free, fire-safe, and erosion-resistant performance.
